i-CreatEVO 2018 seeks exceptional talents amongst students, academicians across disciplines by Model STEAM. The competition discipline which is Creative Arts, Engineering/ Information Technology (IT) and Social Science/ Humanities. i-CreatEVO 2018 aims to challenge participants from Malaysia and Asean countries to design and showcase brilliant and innovative ideas based on given theme, concept and element.

 

ELIGIBILITY 
    
    ●    Open to all students/ educators/ academicians public or private universities, colleges and school talent.  

 

PARTICIPANT
    
    ●    Each entry should consist of three individuals (students/ educators/ academicians). 
    ●    i-CreatEVO 2018 expressly reserves the right to disqualify any entry if any of the individual fails to meet all requirements. 
    ●    The participants may not be an entity, such as corporation, limited liability company, partnership or other form of entity. 

    ●    Participants have right to choose any discipline to produce product/ artwork contested. 

 

THE WORK MUST BE ORIGINAL

    ●    You must be the creator of the product/ artwork and image file you submit to the competition. Your product/ artwork must be your own original concept and not a copy of anyone else’s copyrighted material. (If your image infringes upon another’s copyright, it will be disqualified). Upon submitting your work to this competition, you are solely responsible for any infringement on copyrighted materials. 
    ●    Your product/ artwork must be your own original concept and not a copy of anyone else’s copyrighted material. 
    ●    We reserve the right to request proof that your entry is your original artwork created solely by you. Non-compliance to this rule will be a disqualification of your entry.


REPEAT ENTRIES 

    ●    There are no restrictions to the number of contests the participants can submit work to, nor the number of pieces they can submit, nor the number of prizes they can win. 
    ●    Previous project/ artwork that has won in any competition may not be resubmitted in any of our competitions.

 

COPYRIGHT 


    ●    The participants retain all copyrights to their product/ artworks without exception. 
    ●    Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan reserves all the rights of the products/ artworks.

 

CREATIVE 3-DIMENSIONAL PRODUCT CRITERIA

Below are the product rules and definitions :

●    Suitable with the theme (Kinetic Arts: Movement – eg: spinning, waving,  twisting, etc.), concept and inspiration.
●    Must be functional (Product Innovativeness, Ecology Traits, Quality/ Commercial Value). Kinetic Arts - Movement, hanging or attach to something for examples: spinning, waving, twisting, etc.
●    Must have an aesthetical value (Symbolic and Emotional Content Symbolic and Emotional Content, Ergonomics).
●    Mostly build and display in minimum size not less than (width 1’ (ft) x length 1’ (ft) size) and (height 2’ (ft) size).
●    Must bring your own materials and working tools to produce your product/ artwork.
●    All forms of installation and stability of the product/ artwork as well as the durability and safety of the product/ artwork is under the responsibility of the participants.
●    Power supply will be installed next to the display base.
●    Pedestal base will be provided for your product/ artwork display.
●    Human and animals figure are not allowed in the competition/ Halal-Compliant Creative Products.
●    Product/ Artwork must be on display till the last day of the show/competition.
●    Rules and regulation apply.
